HI, I'm JAmie!
I'm a Kentucky photographer with a little bit of farm girl in her roots, and a whole lot of love for the people in front of my camera!
I grew up in Washington State, where wide-open spaces and a little bit of adventure were just part of everyday life. These days, I call Bowling Green home, but I still carry that same love for the outdoors, good people, and doing things a little differently.
Photography is one of those things that lets me bring all of that together. I love getting to know people, finding the beauty in a new place, and creating photos that feel like you instead of a version of you that showed up just to take pictures.
I'm happiest when things aren't too stiff or overly planned. Give me a couple who wants to laugh, a family that's a little chaotic, a senior with their own personality, or a wedding where everyone is having a genuinely good time...and I'm in my element.
I'll give you direction when you need it, encourage you when you're feeling awkward, and make sure you have plenty of room to just be yourselves.
At the end of the day, I'm here because I genuinely love this. I love people, I love photographs, and I love getting to create something that feels like you!

My approach
I don't think having your picture taken should feel like a chore.
My goal is to keep things relaxed, have a little fun, and give you enough direction that you never have to wonder what you're supposed to do with your hands. I'm there to help you feel comfortable, but I'm not interested in turning you into someone you're not.
I love a beautiful portrait, but some of my favorite images happen in between the laugh you didn't plan, the way your kids actually interact with you, the wind catching your dress, or the two of you completely forgetting I'm there.
I'm also always up for trying something new. Different locations, different ideas, a little adventure...I’m game. You don't have to come to me with the perfect vision. We will figure it out together.
